The Martyr's successor Ayatollaah al-Odhmaa Sayyed Saadiq Shirazi in one of the shrine's open spaces

15.JPG (23357 bytes)

Before the Prayer-of-the-Deceased, secret agents put two giant-sized pictures of Khomeini and Khamenei to the left of the Martyr's coffin, and pointed their cameras to film his successor perform the Prayer next to the pictures. Putting out a false image that the Shirazis are no longer opposing the regime. Ayatollaah al-Odhmaa Sayyed Saadiq Shirazi refused to perform the Prayer until secret agents remove the pictures, which they finally did

13.JPG (27556 bytes)

From the moment the funeral procession reached the open spaces of the holy shrine, the secret service tried hard to assume control of the crowds and direct them into carrying out their plans to bury the body in a narrow corridor in one of the shrine's entrances contrary to the Martyr's expressed wishes. Secret agents behind the shrine's microphones continued to spread government propaganda and interfere with the funeral program. When secret agents snatched the Taaboot for the first time and took it inside the shrine to bury it, angry mourners began to repeat dangerous slogans such as: Mourning, mourning is today, the day of mourning is today, our oppressed Martyr is with God today

9.JPG (23024 bytes)

The Taaboot is removed from the Emaari and taken inside the holy shrine to be circumambulated around the gravesite of Sayyedah Ma'soomah before the Prayer-of-the-Deceased, to give the secret service a lesser opportunity of burying it where they wanted, as they had to allow the Taaboot to be taken back to one of the open spaces for the Prayer, and then the crowds would have a better chance of taken it back to the Mosallaa (prayer hall) in his office for burial according to his will

33.jpg (17248 bytes)

Giant-sized pictures of Khomeini and Khamenei are visible in this picture. The secret service had to cover them when the Martyr's successor threatened that he would not perform the Prayer until they are removed

One of the pictures is put on the other, and the Prayer begins

The Martyr's successor performing the Prayer-of-the-Deceased. Green metal barriers are visible in the picture. The secret service quickly put these barriers to cut the rest of the mourners in this open space of the shrine, which would give their agents who are now inside the barrier around the coffin an easier time to taking it back inside the shrine for the second time to bury it contrary to his will. Although there are enough spaces around the coffin, to its left and it right, secret agents push and shove to disturb the prayer. A local commander of the secret service, with blond hair, is visible standing close to the coffin on the ground, he is third from the left of Ayatollaah al-Odhmaa Sayyed Saadiq Shirazi

Even the government-controlled TV channels which aired seconds of the Prayer-of-the-Deceased could not hide the secret service's pushing and shoving inside the green metal barriers, to disturb the Prayer, when everyone should stand still, and even though there were enough spaces

Mourners in one of the shrine's open spaces, standing still without moving. But secret service agents inside the metal barriers around the coffin pulled and shoved and moved to disturb the Prayer

When the secret service snatched the Martyr's coffin and took it inside the shrine after the Prayer-of-the-Deceased to bury in contrary to his will, a group of mourners followed and took it back from them

12.JPG (18072 bytes)

Inside the shrine, mourners hurried from one closed door to another, trying to take the coffin outside. The secret service had locked all the doors, trapping them inside, while agents were screaming into the shrine's microphones in the open spaces, telling mourners that the family of the deceased urge you to leave and disperse and allow them to bury their beloved one inside the shrine!!

2.JPG (19773 bytes)

When mourners rushed outside the shrine and carried the coffin back to the Mosallaa for burial, they were faced with secret service agents, special forces and the riot police, near the Martyr's office, who after beating them, snatched the body for a second time and took it back to the shrine for burial. When for the third time the body was taken inside the shrine, the secret service had learnt their lesson and this time they were ready. They had set up metal barriers inside the shrine as well as in the open spaces, controlling the crowds

The narrow grave in a narrow corridor in one of the shrine's entrances, surrounded by secret service agents getting ready for the most degrading burial

3.JPG (18369 bytes)

The Afghan burier burying the Martyr's body inside this narrow grave, after the Martyr's head hit one of the two sills on the sides of the grave when it was thrown inside

5.JPG (20080 bytes)

One of Khamenei's soldiers reciting the Talqeen (one of the last burial rites) in haste. Like other rites, the Talqeen was not correctly recited and was not completed, due to the speed with which this degrading burial was taking place. One of the local commanders of the secret service clearly visible in the picture

4.JPG (13954 bytes)

The Martyr inside this extremely narrow grave. You can see the right foot of the Afghan burier on his body!! Moments later, when a secret agent was handing the burier the stone tablets to cover his body, he dropped a tablet which fell and broke on the Martyr's body

6.JPG (15733 bytes)

After filling the grave with dust, secret agents spread a rug over it before retreating. No member of the Shirazi family, and no follower of the Martyr were allowed to witness the burial. For some time the family doubted that the deceased buried in this grave was really the Martyr, until they saw these pictures and a picture of the Martyr's face taken by a Kuwaiti journalist, the only person allowed near the grave who was not an agent of the secret service

7.jpg (22532 bytes)

After Khamenei's soldiers retreated, young mourners threw themselves over the grave. But why did the secret service go to all this trouble to snatch the body twice from the mourners and bury it in a place under its complete control contrary to his will?! And why did it not bury the body as Amaanah (temporary burial) with the coffin, so that it can be exhumed and moved to the holy city of Karbala-Iraq after the fall of the Ba'thist regime, as the Martyr had expressed in his will?! Was it not because the regime feared that the body will some day be exhumed for an autopsy which will prove beyond any doubt that the Martyr was assassinated by Khamenei's order
