He had written more than one thousand two hundred books. He wrote the largest encyclopedia ever written by a single person, with one hundred and fifty volumes the al-Feqh encyclopedia on Islamic law and jurisprudence is the biggest of its kind

He wrote with his right hand for years and when his right fingers could no longer hold a pen, he trained his left hand, and after a number of years when his left fingers could no longer hold a pen, he trained his right fingers; and wrote with different fingers

The Martyr's successor Ayatollaah al-Odhmaa Sayyed Saadiq Shirazi thanking a number of delegations from Arabia and a number of gulf countries two days after his death. He said: When my father died I did not feel the loss of a father because I felt from my older brother, the deceased, everything that a son feels from his father, so today I have lost two fathers.

The Martyr had appointed Ayatollaah al-Odhmaa Sayyed Saadiq Shirazi as his successor. After his assassination, the secret service also attempted to assassinate his successor
